Brief description
and characteristics of the project

The mission carried out by GEOS Ingénieurs Conseils is part of the project entrusted by the Tunisian Ministry of Public Works to the SAT-CEP consortium for studies on the repair of landslide areas on classified roads and rural tracks in the governorates of Bizerte and Kef in Tunisia.

Mission

GEOS carried out a geotechnical expertise mission (mission G5). This mission consisted of :

  • visiting the 14 landslide sites identified and taking part in debriefing meetings with the customer;
  • drawing up a factual report (findings), including an analysis of possible and probable causes, possible treatment solutions and the definition of a geotechnical survey programme.
